COMMUNION SERVICE - Sunday, 12:00 (OUTDOORS, weather permitting)
This service is planned to be outdoors, weather permitting. If there is inclement weather during the time of the service, the communion service will be moved indoors. Please use your best judgment and comfort level in attending.
Services will be limited to 20 in attendance and will be 10-20 minutes in length. You must sign up in advance to attend (see link below).
In holding to our practice of offering the same bread to all, Maryellen Reek bakes gluten-free bread for communion. Pastor Micah will place a piece of bread in each person's hand. And in honor of our covenant to "Care for Creation," glass cups will be filled ahead of time, placed in a tray, comfortably far apart. The tray will be brought to each communing person, so no one will need to touch anyone else's cup. After the communion service, the glass cups will be sanitized for their next use.
If you have any concerns about these decisions, please let Pastor Micah know, no later than the day before the service you are attending. All bread will be gluten-free.
