Thanks to Peg Perry, Amy Young, Kim and Charlie Conklin, we learned how to save water, save money, and save our local waterways all at the same time! The Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC) hosted a FREE rain barrel workshop on Saturday, June 12 from 10 am - 12 pm at Faith Lutheran Church. We learned all about rain barrels and how to install them on our property. If you would like to learn more about the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy's Clear Creeks Project, which offers discounts for residents in the Loch Raven Reservoir (which includes Phoenix, Cockeysville, Timonium and other neighborhoods close to the Loch Raven Reservoir) contact them at this website.
