Our Offerings
In light of the suspension of in-person worship, we wanted to make our members aware of ways to support Faith Lutheran during this time. Our offerings continue to support the ministry of Faith Lutheran Church. We understand that many of your financial situation may impacted by this pandemic, but if you are able, please prayerfully consider continuing your regular offerings to Faith during this time so that we can sustain that ministry. You can give on our website, on Facebook, or mail in your checks (mailbox is checked regularly).

Faith E-News: Holy Week Schedule and Sherwood Youth Car Wash

This Sunday is Palm Sunday. We wave our palms and cry for Jesus to save us just as they did the first holy week. We know the hope of answered prayers even if Jesus comes forward unexpectedly humble and riding resolutely toward the cross. Come to worship with praise and awe in Jesus' willingness to wear a crown of thorns and serve his people with his life.

Faith E-News: Council Highlights and Empty Bowls Fundraiser

This week's gospel lesson shares Jesus' focus on doing God's will and why he does so. He points to his death as necessary to being fruitful, much as a grain of wheat must be planted to produce a harvest. Come and worship our Savior who promises to draw all of us to him through his cross.

Faith E-News: Annual Report Ready and Green Team Meeting Next Week

Our Gospel lesson contains the most famous verse in the New Testament, John 3:16. We are told how much God loves us and that Jesus had to be lifted up on the cross to save us. Come to worship the love that would suffer so much to give us eternal life.
